Breast Cancer Awareness Camp | Life Inclusive Charitable Trust
Life Inclusive Charitable Trust successfully organized yet another Corporate Round of Voluntary Activity—a Breast Cancer Awareness Camp—to educate and empower individuals about the importance of early detection, timely screening, and emotional resilience in the fight against breast cancer. This initiative aimed to ensure that mothers, caregivers, and stakeholders, with or without disabilities, are better informed, stay safe, and benefit from increased awareness and preventive healthcare.
The session featured inspiring speakers who shared their knowledge and personal experiences. Dr. Neeti Leekha Chhabra, a breast cancer survivor, spoke about the significance of early diagnosis, regular self-examinations, and maintaining a positive outlook throughout the treatment journey. Ms. Madhu Narain, a cancer survivor since 2013, shared her courageous journey of overcoming cancer, inspiring participants with her resilience, determination, and hope.
The camp also included an informative session by Ms. Mona Chawla, an educator and certified counsellor, who addressed the emotional and psychological aspects of a cancer diagnosis. She emphasized the importance of mental well-being, family support, and counselling in helping individuals and caregivers navigate the challenges associated with the disease.
The interactive session encouraged participants to ask questions, dispel common myths, and gain practical knowledge about breast cancer prevention and awareness. The camp served as a powerful reminder that awareness, regular screening, timely medical intervention, and emotional support can make a significant difference in improving health outcomes.
