On Wednesday, 30 September 2026, Life Inclusive Charitable Trust organised a Diphtheria Vaccination Camp at the Primary Wing of Scottish High International School, Block G, Sushant Lok 2, Sector 57, Gurugram. The camp ran through the morning in the school’s medical room, where trained nursing team administered the diphtheria vaccine under proper safety protocols, with vaccines stored in a cold-chain vaccine carrier, single-use syringes, a needle destroyer and a dedicated biomedical waste bin. Every beneficiary was registered and recorded in the delivery register before vaccination, and parents and guardians stayed with the children throughout the process. About 50 people were vaccinated during the camp. The drive reached young children, school students and members of the wider community, and was also extended to sportspersons with intellectual disability associated with the Trust, ensuring that they received the same protection in a calm, familiar and supportive setting. Volunteers from the Trust guided families, comforted anxious children and kept the process smooth and orderly.

This initiative reflects the Trust’s mission to ensure a safe, secure, healthy, prosperous and respectful life for sportspersons with intellectual disability in India. Life Inclusive believes that inclusion begins with health: alongside year-round sports training, education and life-skills development, the Trust provides health support so that its athletes can train, compete and live with dignity. Diphtheria is a serious but preventable infection, and protecting athletes who train and travel together, as well as the children and families around them, strengthens the health of the whole community. By bringing persons with intellectual disability and the general public together at the same camp, the Trust demonstrated in practice its vision of a society where individuals with intellectual disability are celebrated as valued contributors and not seen only as athletes. Inspired by achievers such as trustee Ranveer Singh Saini, an international golfer, World Games gold medallist (Berlin 2023) and recipient of the National Award for Individual Excellence (2024), Life Inclusive Charitable Trust continues to foster a holistic tomorrow, and its free vaccination drive stands as a meaningful contribution towards a healthier, more inclusive society.
