Life Inclusive Charitable Trust: Building Independence Through Meaningful Engagement

Life Inclusive Trust, in collaboration with a restaurant, engaged with children with special needs and intellectual disabilities through a meaningful hands-on learning activity focused on preparing snack boxes.

The activity was designed to support the development of fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination, while also creating an opportunity for the children to participate in a workplace environment. Through practical involvement, they were encouraged to learn, engage, and perform tasks in a respectful and supportive setting.

Beyond skill development, the initiative focused on an important aspect of empowerment—helping persons with intellectual disabilities build greater confidence and independence through everyday, purposeful activities. Experiences such as these provide opportunities to learn practical skills while fostering a sense of participation, responsibility, and self-reliance.

The collaboration reflects the importance of creating inclusive spaces where persons with disabilities can actively participate, learn through experience, and develop skills that can contribute to greater independence in their daily lives.
